The project required us to visualize a complex, multi-touchpoint healthcare journeyāfrom individual patient scheduling to high-level government data analyticsāall within a seamless, professional production framework. š Narrative Highlights We focused on the "human side" of technology, showing how enterprise-level software impacts everyday lives during a global health crisis. The Patient Journey: We captured the end-to-end experience of a patient, utilizing clean UI overlays to show the ease of scheduling, check-ins, and digital health records. Virtual Production & Hybrid Environments: By leveraging virtual stages, we created diverse environmentsāfrom a neighborhood gym converted into a vaccination center to a modern New York apartmentāshowing that Salesforce technology works everywhere. Data Visualization: We integrated Tableau and Einstein AI dashboards into the film, using motion graphics to make vast quantities of logistical data (dose tracking, tier management, and predictive analytics) visually digestible and impactful. š¬ Production & VFX Cinematic Storytelling: We used a "walk-and-talk" style with professional talent to keep the narrative moving, ensuring the technical information felt accessible and engaging. šļø Virtual Studio: Real-Time Automotive Lighting Study
We developed this technical showcase to push the boundaries of real-time lighting and cinematic rendering within Unreal Engine. By simulating a professional automotive photo studio, we demonstrated how virtual production can replicate high-end physical light-painting techniques to highlight the iconic lines of a classic 300SL. š” The Technical Challenge Automotive visualization is one of the most demanding tasks in 3D due to the highly reflective nature of car paint and chrome. Our goal was to show that we can achieve "photorealism" in real-time. Robotic Light Painting: We animated a 3D industrial robot arm equipped with a high-intensity light bar. This allowed us to "paint" light across the carās surfaces, creating dynamic, sweeping reflections that emphasize the vehicle's form and curvature. Ray-Traced Reflections: We utilized UE4 Ray-Tracing to manage the complex interplay between the metallic paint, glass, and chrome accents. Studio Material Physics: We developed a custom multi-layered car paint shader with a clear-coat finish to respond realistically to the moving light source, capturing the subtle orange-peel and metallic flake textures. We produced this comprehensive brand anthem for The Heart Hospital, capturing the scale, prestige, and clinical excellence across their Plano, Denton, McKinney, and Frisco campuses. Executive & Clinical Interviews: We captured the passion and expertise of the hospitalās leadership and medical staff, grounding the brand's mission in the people who deliver the care. šØ 3D Animation & VFX The video features a sophisticated 3D logo build that serves as the visual anchor for the hospitalās identity. Custom 3D Logo Sculpt: We modeled the iconic "split heart" logo in 3D, using Maya to create a polished, reflective metallic finish that feels premium and trustworthy. This reel highlights our collaboration with Salesforce, where we utilized cutting-edge LED volume technology to create immersive, high-fidelity environments that respond dynamically to the camera's movement. š The XR Advantage Virtual production allows us to eliminate the limitations of traditional on-location shoots, giving us total control over lighting, weather, and world-buildingāall while providing the actors with a realistic environment to interact with. Real-Time Integration: We utilized Unreal Engine to render cinematic backgrounds that move in perfect sync with the live-action camera, creating a seamless "Digital Twin" of any locationāfrom a lush forest to a modern New York kitchen. Interactive Lighting: One of the greatest strengths of XR is the natural light and reflections provided by the LED walls. This ensures that our actors and props are grounded in the scene, eliminating the "green screen" look and reducing post-production time. Hybrid Storytelling: We successfully integrated Salesforceās 3D characters, like Astro, into these virtual environments, allowing them to inhabit the same space as live actors for a truly cohesive brand experience. We produced this high-energy highlight reel and title sequence for the Brahmas organization. This piece was designed to mirror the "pro-level" broadcast style of major networks like ESPN or Fox Sports, combining intense on-ice action with high-fidelity 3D motion graphics. š„ Kinetic Cinematography Action sports demand a high frame rate and sharp focus. We focused on the "collision and contact" aspect of the game to create a visceral experience for the viewer. Macro-Action Shots: We captured tight shots of skate blades, puck drops, and sticks to emphasize the speed and precision of the game. High-Contrast Lighting: We color-graded the footage to a crisp, "icy" cool tone that makes the purple and black of the Brahmasā uniforms pop against the white of the rink. šļø 3D Motion Graphics & Branding The visual hook of this piece is the 3D "Behind the Brahmas" reveal. 3D Logo Integration: We built a custom 3D environment for the logo, featuring a metallic-textured wordmark and a photorealistic hockey puck as the central anchor. This project was a deep dive into the technical and creative workflows required to bring a legendary, "Grimdark" character to life within Unreal Engine 5. š ļø The Character Pipeline From initial concept to final cinematic render, we focused on maintaining the visceral, battle-worn aesthetic that defines the Warhammer universe. Concept & Sculpting: We began with 2D character sheets to establish the grotesque silhouette of the Plague Lord, followed by high-poly sculpting to capture organic details like exposed organs, decaying flesh, and battle-damaged armor. Retopology & Rigging: We optimized the mesh for real-time performance while ensuring a robust skeletal rig that could handle the characterās heavy, lumbering movements. Texturing & Shading: Using a PBR workflow, we developed complex shaders to differentiate between weathered metal, rot, and bone. We paid specific attention to the "wetness" and subsurface scattering on the characterās organic elements to enhance the grotesque realism. š Environment & World Building The Plague Lord was integrated into a custom-built, atmospheric environment designed to complement his aesthetic. The goal was to tell a story of discovery and scientific precision, moving from the microscopic world of cellular structures to a polished, authoritative final brand identity. 𧬠The Creative Journey The animation is designed as a fast-paced "fly-through" of various biological and scientific environments, reinforcing the brand's connection to life sciences. Cellular & Molecular Visualization: We began at the microscopic level, utilizing high-fidelity 3D models of blood cells. We focused on creating organic textures and fluid movements to make these environments feel "alive." Microscopic Cinematography: We used a shallow depth-of-field and dynamic camera "racking" to simulate the look of high-powered medical imaging.
