The Challenge:
When the need arose to create a stunning 60-second cinematic for the hit game Rocket League, a global pandemic was disrupting production pipelines everywhere. The client required a top-tier team that could not only deliver a high-quality product under a tight deadline but also do so while working entirely remotely.
Our Solution:
Cloud 10 Studios assembled a dedicated crew of 25 artists and animators to bring the vision to life. Leveraging the power of Unreal Engine 4, our team executed a wide range of services, including modeling, texturing, animation, and technical direction, to produce a high-fidelity cinematic.
To overcome the unique challenges of the pandemic, we deployed an innovative and completely remote production model. Our custom pipeline seamlessly integrated with the client's deliverables, allowing us to maintain a consistent workflow. We also utilized Amazon AWS cloud-based rendering and remote servers to accommodate our global team, ensuring that we could work efficiently and without interruption.
For project management, we integrated directly with the client's preferred tracking tool, F-Track, which provided a transparent and frictionless collaboration. Our production team expertly sourced and managed a global talent force with deep backgrounds in feature animation, allowing us to assemble the best team for the job, regardless of their location.
The Result:
Through seamless remote collaboration and expert project management, Cloud 10 Studios successfully delivered the full 60-second cinematic. The project was completed in just 10 weeks, from storyboard to final render, demonstrating our ability to deliver exceptional quality with unparalleled efficiency under demanding circumstances.
